A rail contractor needed to assemble insulated track panels prior to installation of new track in tunnels. 24 x Durapac DTJ-2.5 (2.5 tonne capacity) toe jacks were used lift and lower the rails lengths onto the insulated pads so the levels could be set prior to assembly. These toe jacks provided an inexpensive alternative to purchasing track jacks for this purpose.
