A Durapac RG-252 Cylinder was used in conjunction with a Durapac P-2200 Two Speed Hand Pump and a Durapac HPS-0602DR 2m hydraulic hose in this application.
The customer was having difficulty removing a stator from the tapered shaft in the motor housing. They had tried several methods and could not use force blows in case of damaging components. By utilising two existing bolt holes they set up a frame allowing the RG-252 to be set up. The RG-252’s short stroke of 50mm was ideal, with a continuous creeping amount of force being applied through the P-2200 hand pump.
This allowed them to push the stator away from the tapered shaft, thus enabling removal of the stator from the motor housing.
