At this site, the Durapac Safe D Lock jack was used for repetitive work changing dump truck tyres. Carrying out multiple lifts throughout the day.
The CAT789B dump truck (pictured) with a net weight of just over 123 tonne was no problem for the single Durapac™ Safe D Lock™ jack # SDL-15096, 150 ton capacity with 980mm collapsed height with no extension required.
All operators were impressed with the jack compared to their old unit and noted the following advantages in their assessment:
- Manoeuvrability using the forklift lift points
- Heavy duty and robust pendant
- Bonnet protector to keep everything protected
- Safety advantage of being able to lock the load
- Converting the jack to a stand via the push of a button, standing outside of harms’ way
